on wednesday, november 22nd i went out to dinner with chuck, a reader of this site, and his family. it was the first time i'd ever met anyone in person who knew me only from this site, and it was a really great experience. we met close to my house near �대 (ewha women's university) and went to dinner at a pepper steak restaurant. chuck is korean, but he grew up in texas. we bonded over our shared allegiance to the dallas cowboys. his wife doo and their young son carson came along as well. they were very nice and we had a nice time chatting. part of the experience was definitely surreal since chuck knew a lot about me from the site, but it was cool. it was one of those new experiences the internet makes possible. but like most new experiences, it was great.
