last friday we had really good weather so dad and i made it out to play a round of golf. we played at delcastle, which is only about ten minutes from my parents' house. we didn't even think to make a tee time since it was late december, but as it turned out the course was packed. we got there a little after 11:00a, but the first tee time available was 12:48p. we decided to just wait around and see if anyone didn't show up. the weather was so good and it was the friday before christmas so it wasn't looking good that someone would be cancelling. we waited about five minutes when all of a sudden the next guys on the tee told the starter they were just a twosome after two of their guys had pulled out. miraculously we were up next so we scrambled to get out stuff together and stepped up to the tee.

i had played only once in the past year, but i played okay which kinda surprised me. i'm no tiger woods, and by the last four holes i had pretty much fallen apart. still, it was a nice time and i snapped some pics along the way.
